Trapezoidal sheets

The Trapezoidal Sheets of Elcom System s.p.a. (company with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification) have been researched to make roofing, wall and floor slab.
The possibilities of particular ways of shaping such as cumbering and drawing allows for their use in every kind of building.

Used materials

The Trapezoidal Sheets are obtained by profiling of coils of following materials:

• carbon steel coated with zinc applied in continous according to UNI EN 10147 norm with mechanical characheristics not inferior to those of the steels foreseen  in the D.M.  of 09/01/96
• stainless steel whose characeristics are fixed by UNI EN 10147 norm.
• aluminium with a minimum breaking load of 150 Mpa according to 1396 norm
• copper with mechanical characteristics and physic state defined by UNI EN 1172 norm.

Types

Tollerance

The maximum dimensional and forme tolerance are according th EN 508-1-2-3 norms.

Definition of static characteristics and live loads .
Conditions:
1 – samm = 165 N/mm2 (Fe S250GD – UNI EN 10147)
2 – load “P” uniformely distributed
3 – “l” span between supports
4 – Deflection f ≤ 1/200 “l” Modulos of steel elasticity E = 210000 N/mm2

Description of the method adopted to the determine the static parametres.

It is made reference to the CNR 1002-84 norms, about the instructions for the construction of cold profiles and to the AIPPEG (Italian Association for Panel and Corrugates Sheets manufacturers)
